Obices of reverse logistics related to glass recycling

The aim of this study is to find out what are the reverse logistics obstacles related to glass recycling carried out by cooperatives, private companies and self-employed collectors of recycled materials. It is a documental research and bibliographic survey, being also carried out an exploratory research of a quantitative nature with the application of 138 questionnaires to clarify the limiting aspects of the selective collection of solid glass waste. Despite the studies on the subject of reverse logistics, there is a lack of research related to the collection of solid glass waste. Glass is a solid waste with a high economic return for cooperatives and recycling companies, therefore, the search for identifying the obstacles that limit its collection is justified. The main obstacles related to glass collection are related to individual health and safety, economic aspects and, with less emphasis, logistical aspects. It was identified that there are differences between the perceptions of managers and collectors, with different emphases for obstacles related to glass collection.
