Os Limites e Possibilidades de Desenvolvimento Humano nas Teorias Organizacionais

O texto analisa como o desenvolvimento humano tem sido abordado nas Teorias Administrativas (Administração Científica, Escola de Relações Humanas, Teorias Motivacionais e de Liderança, Teoria Estruturalista e Teoria dos Sistemas). As teorias estudadas pouco oportunizaram o desenvolvimento do ser humano porque a preocupação e as políticas comumente giraram em torno da efetividade organizacional, relegando o aspecto social ao econômico. A gestão participativa, a gestão do conhecimento, o desenvolvimento da lógica emancipatória, a teoria da ação comunicativa, entre outros, constituem-se em alternativas para conciliar os interesses organizacionais e individuais na perspectiva do desenvolvimento. Essas alternativas, porém, implicam numa mudança de paradigmas, em uma visão crítica da realidade, extrapolando, por conseqüência, a racionalidade funcionalista ainda predominante no ambiente organizacional.
