O Modelo de Inovação Aberta no Apoio ao Desenvolvimento Regional: o caso do PROETA

Uma das estratégias organizacionais colaborativas para estimular o desenvolvimento regional é a chamada inovação aberta. Baseada neste modelo, a Embrapa criou o PROETA, onde há a transferência de tecnologia da Embrapa para a criação de novas empresas com o apoio de incubadoras. Este trabalho objetivou a análise da atuação e o potencial do PROETA no estímulo ao empreendedorismo e ao desenvolvimento regional. A pesquisa é exploratória e considerada estudo de caso múltiplo, com dados analisados pela técnica interpretativa. Observou-se que o PROETA tem auxiliado no desenvolvimento regional pela integração de atores, transferência de tecnologias que agregam valor a produtos tradicionais, ampliação da competitividade da indústria e busca de novas oportunidades com a troca de conhecimento entre distintas regiões brasileiras. Estes resultados indicam o potencial do PROETA para a inovação e desenvolvimento regional, com parcerias de diferentes instituições, mostrando a consolidação do modelo de inovação aberta implementada.
