Práticas Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) e relatórios de sustentabilidade: Um panorama internacional

Résumé

A crescente demanda por transparência consolidou os relatórios de sustentabilidade e as práticas Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) como aspectos basilares das estratégias organizacionais. Este estudo tem como objetivo analisar como a literatura científica internacional tem abordado a relação entre a divulgação de práticas ESG e os relatórios de sustentabilidade, no período de 2008 a 2025. A etapa metodológica consistiu na realização de uma análise bibliométrica, orientada pelas diretrizes do Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (protocolo PRISMA), com base em indicadores de desempenho científico, redes de coautoria e coocorrência de palavras-chave. Os resultados revelam crescimento exponencial das publicações após 2019 e uma transição de enfoques teóricos para abordagens mais pragmáticas, com ênfase na governança e na gestão de riscos climáticos. A evolução temática indica uma sofisticação crescente da pesquisa, passando de noções amplas como responsabilidade social para temas estratégicos, como a governance approach, o risco climático e o desempenho industrial. Conclui-se que a literatura tem avançado no entendimento da integração entre relatórios de sustentabilidade e práticas ESG. Sugere-se, para estudos futuros, a análise do uso de tecnologias emergentes na análise de dados de sustentabilidade.
