CIUDADANÍA Y MIGRACIÓN: UN DEBATE ABIERTO

En este trabajo proponemos revisar algunas de las líneas de discusión sobre la temática de multiculturalidad y ciudadanía que nos permita elaborar una lectura válida en torno a una investigación en curso, a la vez que debatir teóricamente con los conceptos aportados. Dicha investigación se enmarca en el doctorado de la Facultad de Humanidades y Artes de la Universidad Nacional de Rosario, y se asienta en un extenso trabajo de campo (entrevistas y observaciones) que tiene por referente una población migrante paraguaya asentada en el Gran Rosario. En función de lo cual, propondremos una revisión del abordaje de la ciudadanía en relación a la temática migratoria, basándonos en el referente citado pero apuntando a inscribir dicho aporte en un marco de debate más amplio. A partir de ello, fundamentaremos que pensar la ciudadanía en contextos migratorios implica tener en cuenta múltiples dimensiones, a saber: económico-social, jurídica, política y étnico-identitaria; en las cuales nos detendremos para esbozar un concepto de ciudadanía más amplio y operativo.Downloads
