Abstract

This essay aims to bring to light some of the ideas present in the work entitled “Disposer de son corps: un droit encore à conquer”, launched in April 2019 by Textuel Paris Editor by the Professor of Private Law at the University of Paris II, Doctor Daniel Borrillo. As part of the political news of the parliamentary debate on the Bioethics Act in the spring of 2019, Borrillo asks: are we really masters of our lives, our bodies, our destinies? Based on these questions, a critical reflection on the main points related to life, death, sexuality and intimacy is proposed.
