Artrite reumatoide, autocuidado e tratamento farmacológico: revisão de escopo

Objetivo: Sumarizar as evidências sobre o tratamento farmacológico e a relação com o autocuidado em indivíduos com artrite reumatoide. Método: Revisão de escopo realizada no primeiro semestre de 2023. Foram incluídos artigos a partir de 1985, publicados em periódicos indexados, literatura cinzenta e de listas de referências, não houve recorte idiomático. A seleção pelo software Rayyan e a coleta de dados em questionário padronizado no software Excel. O protocolo foi registrado no Open Science Framework doi.org/10.17605/OSF.IO/H3SZK. Resultados: Foram recuperados 31 estudos, entre o ano de 1999 a 2022, com predomínio de estudos transversais e publicados em inglês. Os fatores relacionados ao tratamento farmacológico e alteração no autocuidado que estiveram mais presentes nos estudos foram: efeitos colaterais da medicação, quantidade de medicamentos, tempo indeterminado de tratamento, automedicação, conhecimento do tratamento, efeitos positivos do tratamento, assim como o medo e as crenças negativas. Conclusão: A relação entre o autocuidado e o tratamento medicamentoso de indivíduos com artrite reumatoide envolve múltiplas variáveis e possivelmente uma abordagem individualizada possibilite a compreensão dos fatores de cada indivíduo e o manejo para a melhora do autocuidado.
