Abstract

Research on networks and entrepreneurship is extensive and addresses diverse topics. The objective of this study is to build an integrated and critical panorama of academic production on networks and entrepreneurship, developing and discussing new perspectives to renew future research. For this purpose, a systematic review of academic productions on the subject was implemented. Scientific articles, chapters of books and books, which were published in national and international databases were analyzed. The results of the research provide an updated and integrated knowledge about the theme (relevance, conceptions, empirical fields and methodologies) and about new challenges, conceptions and contexts for future research. They also serve to renew and guide studies on entrepreneurship that focuses on the central role of networks in the entrepreneurial process. Contributions are also made in the areas of research methodology and practice, by providing new paths and possibilities for practicing entrepreneurship networks in the context of Creative Economy.
