O Papel da Coopeixe no Desenvolvimento do Território da Pesca e Aquicultura do Médio São Francisco, Minas Gerais

O objetivo deste trabalho é analisar como a Cooperativa dos Piscicultores do Alto e Médio São Francisco LTDA (COOPEIXE) está contribuindo para o processo de desenvolvimento territorial no Território da Pesca e Aquicultura do Médio São Francisco, Minas Gerais, sinalizando sua interação com as políticas públicas. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa e descritiva, cuja coleta de dados se deu através de aplicação de entrevistas, observação e pesquisa documental. Três categorias analíticas sintetizam os resultados: (i) articulação institucional, onde verificou-se a capacidade de inserção da Cooperativa nos diferentes espaços de gestão de políticas públicas e composição de órgãos colegiados; (ii) inclusão produtiva, onde verificou-se as estratégias adotadas pela COOPEIXE que geraram impactos na atividade produtiva aos cooperados que outrora não acessavam mercados, capacitação e orientação; e (iii) agregação de valor, onde observou-se os processos capazes de agregar valor à produção do quadro de cooperados, como beneficiamento, certificação e planejamento da produção.
