Cidade Criativa do Design da Rede UNESCO: evidências e percepções dos turistas em Montreal

O presente estudo tem por objetivo analisar e evidenciar os aspectos que levaram a cidade de Montreal – Canadá, a receber o título de Cidade Criativa do Design, pela Rede Mundial da UNESCO em 2006. Após evidenciar os aspectos que contribuíram com o título, realizou-se um estudo de caso para validar estas características, a partir da percepção de turistas. A partir do levantamento bibliográfico, da caracterização de Montreal, e da aplicação dos questionários aos visitantes da cidade, apresentam-se os resultados obtidos que apontam as atividades desenvolvidas por Montreal que contribuíram com seu título de Cidade Criativa do Design, assim como as percepções dos turistas.
