Abstract

This paper aims to discuss the importance of ecotourism, as sustainable tourism preservation of natural resources, biodiversity and wildlife, in its impacts and benefits in view of the preservationist need of the natural environment. Sustainable tourism involves local communities and their effective participation in the protection of natural, cultural and historical heritage and in the development of strategies and planning to achieve the social, environmental and economic dimensions of sustainability. The research methodology used will be bibliographic and documentary deductive reasoning.
