ANÁLISE DA INSTITUIÇÃO DO SERVIÇO DE ERGONOMIA EM UM FRIGORÍFICO: UM ESTUDO QUANTI-QUALITATIVO

Goal: This study aimed to analyze the data of turnover, absenteeism and leaves of work, and compare them before and after the ergonomics service in the company. It also aimed to analyze the perception, opinion and knowledge of the hierarchy about ergonomic service. Method: The research was characterized as observational retrospective and experimental cross-sectional, were analyzed company data and the application of a questionnaire to 129 employees. Statistical analyzes were performed using SPSS version 8.0 and significant p when less than 0.05. When analyzing the evaluated period, it was not found significance of the reduction of absenteeism, turnover and leaves of work in the period before and after implementation of the ergonomic service. Results: As for the analysis of the questionnaires, a statistical significance was found in the relationship between the need for ergonomics in the company x appreciation, the need for ergonomics in the company x safety, the search for the ergonomist x problem solving, the perceived adaptation x the facilitation of his or her colleague's work. , change perception x valorization and change perception x security. It was concluded that there was no statistical significance in reducing absenteeism, turnover and absences after the ergonomic service was implemented, but the rates did not increase even with the increase in productivity and number of employees. Conclusion: It is also concluded that regardless of the hierarchy workers realize the importance, know and through their opinion showed satisfaction with the ergonomics service. Further studies with larger sample companies are suggested, as well as an in-depth study of the reasons for removal to combat them.
