Abstract

ABSTRACT: The objective of this presentation was to identify, based on the literature, the technologies used by nurses in the care of women who are victims of violence and to describe the technologies related to the need of women who are victims of violence. The search was carried out in the database of the Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES), PUBMED, LILACS, SCIELO, BDENF, MEDLINE, COLECIONA SUS, PAHO and IBECS. Resulting in a total of 12 articles, these were arranged in two thematic units that address: the use of light technologies in the assistance of women victims of violence; and the limits and potential in the care of women victims of violence. The research content reveals the importance of inserting the theme in the nurses' performance, using and recognizing technology as a tool for care practice.
