INTERCORRÊNCIAS CLÍNICAS OBSERVADAS EM PREMATUROS INTERNADOS EM UMA UNIDADE DE TERAPIA INTENSIVA NEONATAL DE UM HOSPITAL DO INTERIOR DO ESTADO DO RIO GRANDE DO SUL

Abstract

Objetivo: Analisar os dados referentes ao parto e as intercorrências clínicas dos prematuros ocorridas no período de internação hospitalar em uma Unidade de Terapia Intensiva Neonatal de um hospital do interior do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul. Métodos: Trata-se de uma pesquisa transversal, descritiva e analítica. A amostra constitui-se de 54 crianças prematuras. Os dados sobre intercorrências clínicas no período pós-natal foram coletados no prontuário dos neonatos. Resultados: As principais intercorrências clínicas no período pós-natal dos prematuros com maior incidência ocorreram nos sistemas hematológico (90,7%) e respiratório (88,9%). Observou-se uma forte correlação e diretamente proporcional
entre a idade materna e idade gestacional correlacionadas
com o apgar do primeiro minuto e peso do recém-nascido.
Conclusão: Os recém-nascido prematuros estão mais suscetível
a complicações e o fisioterapeuta desempenha um importante
trabalho na sua recuperação e no seu desenvolvimento.
