REPERCUSSÕES DAS MEDIDAS QUE VISAM PROMOVER O USO RACIONAL DE ANTIMICROBIANOS NOS HOSPITAIS: REVISÃO DA LITERATURA

Abstract

Os antimicrobianos então entre os medicamentos mais prescritos e relacionam-se as taxas de micro-organismos multidrogarresistentes, permanência hospitalar e qualidade do cuidado. Objetivo: identificar na literatura nacional e internacional, publicada nos últimos cinco anos, disponível on line, as repercussões das medidas para uso racional de antimicrobianos em âmbito hospitalar. Metodologia: Utilizou-se da pesquisa exploratória, qualitativa do tipo bibliográfica. Foram selecionados 14 artigos das bases de dados Bireme, Lilacs e Medline, em inglês, espanhol e português. Analisados segundo os pressupostos da análise de conteúdo. Resultados e discussões: a aplicação de medidas para racionalizar o uso de antimicrobianos pode melhorar a qualidade das prescrições, propiciar uso do antimicrobiano adequado, mudar os padrões de resistência microbiana, trazer alguns benefícios clínicos e reduzir custos. Conclusões: não estão estabelecidos quais os métodos mais adequados para otimização do uso de antimicrobianos e sua aplicação gera economia de custos, altera microbiota local e melhora a qualidade do cuidado.

Carolina Renz Pretto: Enfermeira formada pela Unijuí em janeiro de 2009, especialista em Enfermagem em Terapia Intensiva, também pela Unijuí, 2010, especialista em Farmacologia e Interação Medicamentosa pelo Centro Universitário Internacional de Curitiba-PR – Uninter, 2013, especialista em Saúde da Família pela UNA-SUS/UFCSPA, 2013.

Local de trabalho: Enfermeira plantonista na Unidade de Atendimento 24horas da Secretaria Municipal de Saúde de Ijuí, carga horária 12x36hs.
