Abstract

Trata-se de uma pesquisa de cunho jurídico, sociológico e antropológico, que visa mapear atuação e mobilizações dos atores sociais na questão étnica-quilombola no Brasil. Para tanto, a pesquisa detém cunho bibliográfico e documental, com estudo de caso na Ação Direita de Inconstitucionalidade no 3.239/04. Identificam-se os atores que se apresentam ao debate público e como se mobilizam neste cenário, além de verificar a capacidade de mutação dos cenários das lutas étnicas pelos instrumentos jurídicos. Apresenta-se também uma descrição densa da expressão étnica no mundo jurídico e os (des)compassos entre as racionalidades jurídicas e das ciências sociais.
