Abstract

Este trabalho teve por objetivo refletir a respeito da vulnerabilidade dos agricultores familiares na esfera judicial, especificamente no que se refere aos conflitos em face da legislação ambiental, e os reflexos disso na efetivação concreta do princípio da dignidade humana.  A principal metodologia adotada foi a análise de processos e boletins de ocorrência relativos às questões ambientais. Os principais resultados apontam que a maior dificuldade enfrentada pelos agricultores familiares é a de acesso, seja à informação ou aos mecanismos legais de defesa, e, que isto reflete diretamente na efetividade do princípio da Dignidade Humana, consagrado pela legislação brasileira.
