Licenciaturas Light: resultado das lutas concorrenciais no campo universitário?

Este estudo pretende apontar e analisar alguns embates que foram desencadeados no cotidiano universitário a partir da exigência de reformulação dos cursos de Licenciatura nas universidades públicas, impactadas pela necessidade de instituição das Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais para a Formação de Professores. Apontando que a reforma pretendida procurou forjar mudanças que se confrontam com nossa cultura organizacional, o trabalho procura problematizar alguns embates enfrentados à luz da contribuição do conceito de luta concorrencial no campo universitário proposto por Pierre Bourdieu, analisando-os enquanto estratégias de manutençãodo ou de subversão ao poder simbólico e político. Ao final, as autoras questionam o conservadorismo da universidade que, refém das lutas concorrenciais internas, pode ter gerado projetos “light” para as Licenciaturas, ampliando espaço para a
proliferação mercantil de Licenciaturas aligeiradas e precárias.
