Gestión Ambiental en Instituciones Escolares Cubanas Retos y Perspectivas

El artículo enfatiza en el reto que tienen las instituciones escolares cubanas en la actualidad, acerca de lograr armonía entre la educación ambiental y la gestión ambiental, debido a que la trasmisión de saberes no es suficiente para alcanzar el desarrollo sostenible, se requiere además de acciones trasformadoras que involucren docentes, escolares, la familia y los actores del entorno escolar para mejorar las actuales relaciones entre la naturaleza y la sociedad. El objetivo de la investigación fue proponer una tecnología para la gestión ambiental integral en la institución escolar que contribuyera a mejorar el estado del medio ambiente en la misma. La investigación combinó métodos cualitativos y cuantitativos, se empleó el estudio de casos, realizado en instituciones escolares del municipio Holguín, como resultado se obtuvo una tecnología para la gestión ambiental integral en la institución escolar, la que permite efectuar una gestión ambiental integral, sistémica, participativa, y de proceso, que considera las particularidades del entorno e involucra a actores.
