MAPA CONCEITUAL COMO FERRAMENTA DE APRENDIZAGEM NO ENSINO SUPERIOR

Abstract

Conceptual maps have been accepted as effective tools to demonstrate the contents learned. In this study, conceptual maps were used to assist university students in the interpretation of a scientific paper and were created with the support of Cmap Tools or Cmap Cloud software. In addition, the students' perceptions of the implemented approach were evaluated. Concept maps were generally well accepted by students as a useful tool to promote their learning and help in identifying difficulties. Most of the students successfully fulfilled the items evaluated in the conceptual maps, although they indicate some difficulty in the use of the software. Given the potential of the conceptual maps allied to digital technologies, it is necessary to encourage the implementation of practices that promote meaningful learning and the development of skills inherent to the academic context.
