Conhecimento de Estudantes de Escolas Inseridas no Projeto “Encontro” do Centro de Atendimento ao Adolescente do Município de Ijuí, sobre DST/HIV/AIDS

Abstract

A Aids, assim como outras DSTs, representam um agravo à saúde de grande importância nos dias atuais, merecendo destaque a disseminação entre os adolescentes. Diante desta realidade o presente estudo tem como objetivo identificar o conhecimento de adolescentes, estudantes de escolas de Ijuí,
participantes do Projeto Encontro do Centro de Atendimento ao Adolescente do Município de Ijuí (Caami), acerca de DST/HIV/Aids. É uma pesquisa quantitativa, exploratória e descritiva. Os sujeitos são 164 estudantes de escolas inseridas no projeto Encontro, implementado pelo Caami, os quais responderam
um questionário com questões abertas e fechadas. Os dados foram analisados conforme proposto por Gil (1999) para estudo quantitativo. Com o estudo percebemos o quão necessárias são as intervenções entre os jovens, já que são vulneráveis às DST/HIV/Aids, inseridas no universo cultural e no cotidiano dos mesmos, fazendo parte de programas que visem a redução dos índices desses agravos.
