QUEDA DA PRÓPRIA ALTURA EM IDOSOS: Ações de Educação em Saúde Visando a Alta Hospitalar

Trata-se de um relato de experiências vivenciadas durante o desenvolvimento do projeto de extensão intitulado“Educação em Saúde para a alta hospitalar aos pacientes pós cirurgia traumatológica/ortopédica”. As atividades deeducação em saúde visam, dentre outras questões, socializar conhecimentos e buscar soluções conjuntas a partir dasnecessidades apresentadas. Essa evidência fomentou o projeto de extensão que propõe atividades de educação emsaúde realizadas pelo enfermeiro junto a um acadêmico bolsista. Os sujeitos do projeto são os usuários do serviço detraumatologia/ortopedia do Hospital Universitário de Santa Maria que estiverem internados nas unidades Traumatologia localizado no Pronto Socorro ou no serviço de Clínica Cirúrgica e que já realizaram a cirurgia traumatológica.Percebeu-se a grande incidência de fraturas em idosos internados por queda da própria altura, em sua maioria do sexo feminino. Dessa forma, é relevante aprofundar os conhecimentos sobre orientações que visam prevenir complicaçõese recidiva do problema.Downloads
