A RELAÇÃO FAMÍLIA E ESCOLA NO ENCAMINHAMENTO DE ESTUDANTES PARA SALAS DE APOIO

A relação entre família e escola é importante para o processo de escolarização, tendo contribuições específicas para a aprendizagem e desenvolvimento dos estudantes. O atual estudo buscou compreender os sentidos atribuídos por pais ao encaminhamento de seus filhos para a Sala de Apoio Pedagógico (SAP). Assim, foram realizadas 10 entrevistas com mães, indicadas pelas próprias escolas, que tiveram seu filho/filha encaminhado, buscando compreender a concepção dos pais sobre a função da escola e da SAP, assim como entender como foi realizado o encaminhamento e o sentido atribuído à ele. Quanto aos aportes teóricos, autores como Szymanski (2001), Carvalho (2004), Patto (1991), Escabora (2006) foram utilizados. Os dados foram analisados por meio de análise de conteúdo e durante todo o processo da pesquisa (contatos com a escola, família e a entrevista) percebeu-se como ocorre a relação entre a família e a escola. Observou-se que a família atribui à escola função essencial para o futuro dos estudantes, sendo o papel da mãe mais responsabilizado socialmente com relação à educação escolar de seus filhos, ficando explícito também que o encaminhamento dos filhos, é forjado em um sistema educacional que busca disfarçar seus problemas sociopedagógicos por meio da culpabilização do estudante e da família.
