Abstract

This article aims to present a participatory research that included an intervention and application of a methodology called “Imaginando”, whose principle was the use of photographic language in the representation of the concept of heritage. To this end, initially studies are presented in the area that investigated the expansion of the concept of sources in Brazilian historiographical production and the relationship between history teaching and heritage education in the context of the early years, presenting problems and possible possibilities for pedagogical interventions. The study had the participation of 22 students from a class of 5th year of elementary school in a public school located in the municipality of Serra, Espírito Santo. The activities took place over a month, distributed in one class per week. After analyzing the instruments produced and used, it is possible to state that the photographs have communicative functions, and that, in the investigated context, the possibility of using the photographic image as a historical school source was found, which contributed significantly to the organization of the concept. and understanding the content.

Pós-Graduação Latu Senso em Coordenação Pedagógica pela Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo (2015). Pós-Graduação Latu Senso em Psicopedagogia pela Faculdade de Educação da Serra (2008). Possui graduação em Pedagogia pela Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo (2007) . Atualmente atua como professora do Ensino Fundamental I no município da Serra (ES). Possui experiência em Educação Infantil e Ensino Superior na formação de professores. Gestora de desenvolvimento de projetos culturais.

Maria Alayde Alcantara Salim, Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo

Possui graduação em História pela Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo (1991), especialização em História Social pela Universidade do Espírito Santo (1996), Mestrado em Educação (2002) e Doutorado em Educação (2009) pelo Programa de Pós Graduação em Educação da Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo. Atualmente é professora nível associado I na Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo - Centro Universitário Norte do Espírito Santo. Professora do Mestrado Acadêmico em Ensino na Educação Básica UFES/CEUNES. Realiza pesquisa nas áreas de Ensino de História na Educação Básica, História da Educação no Espírito Santo e História Cultural.
