IDENTIDADE E DIVERSIDADE CULTURAL NO CURRÍCULO ESCOLAR

Resumo
Um dos grandes desafios e tarefas da escola contemporânea é proporcionar aos alunos o conhecimento sobre a própria identidade e a diversidade cultural do nosso país. Compreender e saber lidar com o fenômeno da diversidade cultural é um fator fundamental que pode evitar a discriminação e a exclusão escolar e social. Este estudo bibliográfico enfoca a importância da questão da(s) identidade(s) e diversidade cultural no currículo escolar buscando compreender a função da escola atual num contexto multicultural no objetivo de contemplar as diferenças culturais em seu currículo. A manifestação cultural de cada um e de cada povo revela a dimensão multicultural que se configura nas relações sociais e históricas. O diálogo intercultural se propõe a contemplar as relações e trocas entre as diferentes culturas.
