El artículo discute las posturas y propuestas pedagógicas, vigentes sobre las “prácticasuniversitarias” para repensarlas más allá de los escenarios administrativos, técnoburocráticos o económicos. Se afirma que la universidad no puede limitarse a reproducir lo existente, porque no es un instrumento al servicio de una política económica neoliberal; por el contrario es una experiencia de convivencia y conocimiento al servicio de la comunidad, que la legitima. Por ello, parte de reconocer las “prácticas profesionales” como ese “saber/quehacer” pedagógico y político que puede redimensionar sus alcances, si asume un horizonte formativo de ciudadanos/profesionales reflexivo/críticos.
