SITUAÇÃO DE ESTUDO: APROXIMAÇÕES COM AS ORIENTAÇÕES CURRICULARES NACIONAIS E O LIVRO DIDÁTICO

Abstract

O presente artigo tem como objetivo identificar as aproximações da proposta de organização do currículo escolar, denominada Situação de Estudo, e os Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais (PCN). Focalizam-se algumas contribuições produzidas no decorrer do desenvolvimento da SE): Conhecendo o Câncer- Um Caminho para Vida, para a significação dos conceitos de Biologia no Nível Médio. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa com base nos argumentos de Carr & Kemmis (1988). Verifica-se que a SE apresenta as características apontadas pelos PCN, pois possibilita a contextualização, a interdisciplinaridade e a permanente reconstrução das práticas educativas. Isso contribui para que os estudantes participem efetivamente, das aulas, desenvolvendo sua capacidade de interpretar, argumentar e relacionar os conteúdos escolares com situações reais e de sua vivência cotidiana.
