ENTRE NARRATIVAS E SIGNIFICAÇÕES: A EDUCAÇÃO DE JOVENS E ADULTOS SOB O OLHAR DO IMAGINÁRIO SOCIAL

O Brasil possui uma grande parte da população em condição de analfabetismo, por isso cabe a nós educadores, olharmos a Educação de Jovens e Adultos com mais atenção. A partir da ideia de que o mundo social-histórico sempre está relacionado com o simbólico, desenvolvemos uma investigação sobre as significações imaginárias dos alunos adultos frequentadores da EJA, acerca da escola. Realizamos entrevistas com alunos da EJA, de uma escola da Rede Municipal de Ensino de Santa Maria, buscando dar visibilidade as suas significações sobre a escola. Além de refletir acerca dos imaginários instituídos e instituintes sobre a escolarização tardia, problematizar a função da escola na sociedade atual, pensar o papel da formação de professores neste contexto e olhar a Educação de Jovens e Adultos pela lente sensível do Imaginário Social.
