Discutindo a relação: o que dizem professores e alunos

O objetivo deste texto é discutir a relação entre professores e alunos no contexto do Ensino Médio a partir da investigação realizada em uma escola pública estadual de um município de porte médio do Noroeste do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul. A relação entre professores e alunos é considerada a dinâmica central do funcionamento do cotidiano escolar e do exercício do trabalho docente. As recentes transformações na sociedade colocaram em questão a legitimidade de várias instituições, entre elas a escola. A sala de aula também se torna um local de instabilidade e, assim, a relação professor e aluno se faz problemática. Desentendimentos e incompreensões mútuas parecem incorporadas às rotinas escolares em muitos lugares gerando um mal-estar docente ante às dificuldades do trabalho escolar. A abordagem de pesquisa adotada é a qualitativa, uma vez que a intenção é descrever as variadas formas que as relações entre professores e alunos assumem no contexto escolar.
