Caminhos Onde Reencontramos Paulo Freire a Educação Popular na Cidade

O presente artigo busca realizar, aproximadamente dez anos depois, uma reflexão sobre a
construção da educação popular em Angra dos Reis (RJ) durante as três gestões do Partido
dos Trabalhadores. Durante esse período inúmeras práticas democráticas e participativas
se desenvolveram na cidade e nas escolas, em especial, que deflagraram processos que
transformaram Angra dos Reis num espaço político-educativo. Destacamos, nesse ensaio,
o percurso das políticas curriculares e das condições institucionais para a práxis da Pedagogia
freiriana.
